Children’s Ministry



Sunday School

Classes are provided for 1st-2nd, 3rd-4th, and 5th-6th graders at 9:30 a.m.   In addition, we have Children’s Church at the 11:00 hour for children thru 3rd grade.  Our goal is for children to gain a better understanding of Scripture and a lifelong passion for Jesus Christ.

Children’s Ministry

After School Program

This program is for children K-6th grade.  It begins immediately after school is dismissed.  Children are given snacks, recreation time, homework help, dinner,  and participation  in the Children’s Choir.  Vans are provided for transportation from EK Baker School to Clearwater.

AWANA

AWANA is finishing up its third year at Clearwater.  This international Bible-centered children’s program focuses on scripture memorization and high energy games to make learning a fun experience.  It is based on 2 Timothy 2:15, “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.”  We now have the opportunity to minister to and train close to 150 children each Wednesday night from 5:50-7:30 p.m.  Visit www.awana.com or click on the logo for more info.

Missions Nights

Girls in Action (GA’s) & Royal Ambassadors (RA’s) are for 1st-6th graders.  They meet on Sunday evenings at 6:00 p.m. during the school year.  They are taught missions education and participate in missions projects.

UPWARD Sports

Upward Basketball & Cheerleading happens every winter for K-6th graders.  Upward desires to change generations globally and recognize that every child is a winner!  The purpose of Upward Sports Ministry is to fulfill God’s vision by promoting salvation, ,character, and self-esteem.  Visit www.upward.org or click on the logo for more info.
