Special Needs Ministry


Crossover is a ministry of Clearwater Baptist Church.  Our desire is to give those in the special needs community an opportunity to worship God in their own unique way.  Many disabled children and adults face obstacles in traditional churches today.  We are attempting to “Crossover” those boundaries by providing a setting in which this group, along with their families can praise and sing, but most importantly learn about a God who loves them.

Several in our faith family have first-hand knowledge of living with those who have special needs.  Many face daily obstacles in meeting educational, social, and spiritual needs of their families.  We have gathered a group of dedicated volunteers who are excited about what God is doing in this ministry.  Bring your family and let’s celebrate HIM together in a very special way.

First Sunday of Every Month

Crossover worship service meets the first Sunday evening of each month.  Our time together begins at 4:00 p.m. and lasts approximately one hour.  We meet at the McMinn Senior Activity Center at 205 McMinn Avenue, Athens, TN 37303.
